Nice Things started with curated art parties that centered Black creativity and connection. No bottle service energy. No velvet ropes. Just good people, original work, and room to be yourself. Since then, we’ve grown into a cultural production company that blends intentional design with unforgettable experiences.
Our events—like Black Ass Comedy and After Hours—create space for laughter, beauty, and collective joy. And through custom productions, we help other brands and organizations tap into that same energy with experiences that feel meaningful, not manufactured.

Black Ass Comedy
Black Ass Comedy is a live, interactive show series spotlighting Black comedians in Black-owned venues for Black audiences. With pop-up residencies and multi-city tours, each performance delivers sharp sets, big laughs, and a space where culture meets comedy—unfiltered and unforgettable.
After Hours
After Hours is a curated monthly experience celebrating Black creativity through intimate, one-of-a-kind events. From runway shows and film screenings to live concerts and artist talks, each gathering is hosted in a unique setting and designed to bring people closer—to the art, the story, and each other.

The Partnerships Coordinator helps grow Nice Things’ network of sponsors and institutional partners by researching leads, sending outreach, tracking conversations, and supporting proposals for Black Ass Comedy and After Hours. This paid, part-time role is perfect for someone early in their career who wants real experience in sponsorships, brand partnerships, and relationship management in the entertainment space.
